The world is such a big place; there're all sorts of people.
It just, makes me so overwhelmed and amazed everyday.

I do hope that everybody would be living to the best they can be. People who are rich and famous, people who get rare diseases or having typical illnesses right now, stars, everyday people, working people, students, kids, teachers, entrepreneurs. There're so many more! I was reading Wikipedia on Mark Zukerberg and I was like, "WOW"! He can be so successful at such a young age. I don't know whether it's that I think too much, but i think, think, think everyday and get amazed everyday. People in their own line of work are adept in their work. I always wonder about how things were done, like, how are sweets and chocolates produced? How do trains/planes go along underground routes when there're other trains/planes and avoid crashing into each other? How are wonderful songs and movies created? And at the same time there're those famine countries who just have a simple life, here we are having high-tech gadgets and people inventing even more amazing ones. Sometimes the world just isn't fair; why do some people get deprived of what others have to be comfortable? I pray everyday for them to have enough basic necessities and not suffer. At the same time I keep reminding myself not to be materialistic. Am I? Just be contented with our lot; everybody has their own problems and it's up to us to do whatever it takes to solve it. "What we do is what we get." And of course, health, Everybody, please do take care!

School will be a test of life; work will be the so-called implementation of what we learn. Projects, well, I'll treat it as a test put across to me! To work well with anybody, anytime.

This world is so amazing. Thank God for creating such a wonderful place for us, and let's not take it for granted!

ENG SHIN MIIN!! :DDD

This is for you! Am glad to see you for soooooo long after months of not seeing you! Ask us out soon okay? (:

We went to celebrate Shirley's birthday in advance and went to Cartel again =X LOL. But it's quite affordable as compared to other restaurants. I mean, where can you find a place where there's service (sometimes), no service charge and a 30% discount off the total bill? Hahahaha! What matters most is the company. I'm really glad we 8 had a chance today to get together. Next time to come soon alright?

Went to Jialu's house early in the morning to bake a cake for Shirley. I went out at 7am you know! Haha. Shirley you should be touched till you're tearing hor? We baked a peachy 3-layered cake that looked like this:

Went to Xinyi's house for HSM2 after that, and played around and stuff. HSM2 was quite nice, but didn't pay full attention cos I wandered here and there to play. Thanks Xy for the recipe!! (:
Cabbed to imm after that for lunch! And saw SHINMIIN finally! Went for cartel meeting about the change in items for the new menu. Rushed to join the others for pool and I was getting tired cos the balls don't always go in. Tyco tyco here and there. Eh Yanling hidden talent hor? LOL! And then, went for dinner with Yanqiu and chit-chatted abit (: and thanks for recommending tt fish bee hoon! Nice soup(:

Shinmiin, you take care and enjoy your holidays then! For SP pple, let's work hard during Semester 2, starting next week. I haven't done my SPSS nor revised! Need to start soon! I also want to make snow skin mooncakes for mum! :DD

I got into Better Pronunciation for Better Speech for GEMS (I needed it cos my pronunciation sucks), but sadly I didn't get into the same class as June and her sis, cos I was too hyped-up when pressing the time slots and by the time I wanted to de-register and register (which I did twice) for the right one, there were no more spaces left =X So I have to go school before 8am every Monday, and have 2 hours of break alone )': But I'm looking on the bright side now; Wednesday I go off at 12! But when school starts next week I have to go help out at some cca drive for leo club and it ends at 530 and I don't know what we'll be doing. LOL! Laysing & June, do tell me if you guys know!

I really have to work hard in Semester 2, which is like in a week's time only. Congrats to Laysing and Alicia! 3.8 genusies!

Did I mention I'm back from the chalet? LOL. Chalet was fun (: First night we had BBQ with 4D - classmates we haven't seen for a long time, played arcade, cycled, took pictures, watched TV and abit of movies, played different sorts of games with poker cards and shouted till we were all exhausted and having sore throats. LOL!

Second day's steamboat was delicious (: Drank abit of which i forgot, which was nice! Vodka or something? Played cards again, TV, and the guys were damn mad and funny luh! They were there playing; Algean was acting out the "Anything; Whatever" ad and he was crapping so funnily. Soonhow was acting that gross Mocca.com ad. You know, the muscular man who shows off his body to sell his flat? Funny lor. Haha! Drank abit during forfeit but wasn't that much; some even drank soya sauce! Mostly it was Shibing who drank that. LOL. Anyway, I wouldn't drink beer the next time round. It's not nice and bad for the body. But that B-something was nice! As Xinyi said, too bad we didn't take any pictures that night and too bad Shirley, Yanqiu and Yanling couldn't stay. But it was fun (:

Xinyi went off first cos she didn't feel well, Sorry Xinyi =X and you take care! I didn't realise I was snatching the blanket. LOL. Woke up at 12 (I thought it was morning only) and went off with Jialu cos I'm working at 4. Was sooooo tired at work >.< My eyelids were wanting to drop! I felt abit pissed during work over the small matters. Sigh. Is it my bad temper? Or its just that I'm tired? I have to change my bad temper..

I decided to blog, based on my feel.

Friday
Went back to JVS for Teachers' Day and saw many people. Teachers, ex-clasmates etc etc. And, this year is such a productive year (as said by Mrs Bala)! Mdm Suhaily, Ms Ooi, Mrs Bala, and another teacher Mdm Pek were all pregnant! Their tummies were so big. Well, all the best to them! As in, have a smooth delivery!

After that went out with PRB (: to Marina Square. Er, Linda and Yanqiu, HAHAHAHA! LOL. Actually its nothing lah, just a misconception right? Yea, after we found each other we headed for pool, but ended up playing arcade in the end. I got last and second last in Daytona ): And we went bowling! And KBox-ed! I sang very awfully, sadly )': Yanling's voice was great! No off-key, nice tone as if the sound came from the machine! Yanqiu gave us her first time wow-wee of singing in her girl sound for those high-pitched songs and it sounded very nice! (: Hahahaa. We had fun, BUT next time ALL of PRB must go out okay? ShinMiin ShinMiin ShinMiin. See you soon luh! Get well soon Jialu!

Saturday
Got myself tired and smelly at the stall. Imagine Mum waking up at 5 everyday to go there and I felt so guilty cos we're really darn lucky to be able to study and get a higher chance of a better job next time and stuff. I want to buy something for her instead of always buying things for myself ): I'm selfish..so I will change. After all, these are just worldly possessions. Went to IKEA at night to find a cupboard for my room. My mum says I'm crazy cos I wanted to put my shoes in my room =X But I like mah! LOL. Didn't get it in the end cos we have to go home and take more accurate measurements before buying. Had Ikea Hotdogs and it was nice but I regretted it but I still had supper later on ): Self-control lah! I brought it upon myself - I gained weight in the end -.-" More self motivation luh!

Watched 1 Litre of Tears and it was extremely SAD )': I already cried at the second episode. It's like, you imagine your own child getting an incurable disease and you go around to many doctors for a second opinion but to no avail; to keep a happy face in front of your child, not to let her know anything and the pain that comes with all this. On top of all these, she's only 15.

I also chatted with my brother, about the sermon he had at church and he shared about how he was very touched, especially today, when he listened to the sermon. About the end of the world, and that God's predictions as stated in the Bible were coming true. An example would be the recent incident of the Korean hostages. So the end of this world may come anyday. It may be the next moment, or in a year, or in 10 years. It may come anytime. So, I hope that I can go to church to listen more of sermons, understand the Bible better and treasure the people around me. Sigh. I also thought about the types of people in this world. Those who commit crimes, those who rose to fame and got their lives so complicated with drugs, divorces and stuff, those who are really kind at heart but have not gotten the chance to know God; what happens? No matter what, believe in Him and you will have eternal life, not just in this world, even when you die.

Today
Someone from Aloha called Xinyi and asked her to cancel the 4D chalet cos people under 18 were not allowed to book, and that we can only get 25% of the refund. What sia! Cannot right? We haven't even gone there! I sent an email to them writing alot. LOL. Reply soon or I'm going to call you up! I give you 10 minutes.

I called them, and this was what I got.

-.-" I called up the wrong number. I tried again with the right number, but they're still not available, asking me to leave a contact. So I'll try later then. They should have an explanation for this. What, change to people who're above 18 to book also cannot? There is no way we only get back only 25% of the refund. We haven't even gone there! Moreover they should have prevented us from booking if we're under 18 in the first place, not call up now, which is like almost a month from 9 to 31 Aug and ask us to cancel without us getting the full amount back. Even if we're unable to book, we still must get back a full refund, at most we can go to other places to have a 4D gathering. Xinyi, don't worry..

I need to work out, but something nice for mum, and I don't want so much of materialism anymore. Do treasure everything around us. Thanks mum, thanks PRB, thanks 05, thanks my 05 clique, thanks teachers, thanks everyone who lives in this world. I pray that the unfortunate in the world would be freed from their sufferings, such as the people in Africa. I thank God, for giving us this opportunity to live, cleansing our sins and may your glory be upon us. Amen.
